THE SCIENCE

In two double-blind, placebo-controlled studies, C. canephora robusta helped subjects lose weight. In the first study, which lasted 60 days, subjects taking this key ingredient lost an average of 10.95 lbs. –compared to 5.4 lbs. for the placebo group. Both groups followed a low-calorie diet. In the second study, which lasted 8 weeks, subjects lost an average of 3.7 lbs., while the placebo group lost 1.25 lbs. Both groups followeda calorie-reduced diet and moderate exercise plan.
