Jarrow Formulas Lactoferrin provides 250 mg of freeze-dried lactoferrin per capsule. Lactoferrin is an iron-binding glycoprotein naturally present in breast milk and is used to support healthy immune system function and iron absorption.
The lactoferrin is freeze dried to help preserve its delicate structure. During digestion, gastric pepsin can break down lactoferrin to release lactoferricin B, an immune-supporting peptide.

Suggested Use
